Portrait is 215.9 × 279.4 mm; landscape is 279.4 × 215.9 mm. Rotating the page gives more room for wide diagrams without changing the distance between grid lines.
The paper size describes the sheet, while grid spacing describes each cell.

- Load Letter paper in a printer that supports this size.
- Choose the matching paper size and orientation in the print dialog.
- Select 100% or Actual Size. Avoid Fit to Page.
- Check ten 5mm squares with a ruler: they should measure 50mm.
Edge-to-edge grids may be clipped by your printer’s unprintable margins. Keep actual-size scaling to preserve the interior grid.
